Graham Hunter caught a boat record 30lb barracuda after it ate half of a small cero mackerel we had hooked then ate another bait (we found the other half of the mackerel inside the barracuda lol

A 185 lb bull shark ate a small fish we had hooked - the angler wanted a pic onshore so we brought it in but since then every shark we have caught (not many!) has been released.

Tony Seymour was on a shared half day charter when this huge tuna took a bait close to the boat and the hook came out and jammed in its tail! It took a long time to get in and was our biggest tuna ever at 220lb and at the time was a Grenada record on rod & reel at 220lb!

Saturday was Steve Natrass & Tony Deacon's first day of four. An hour in we hooked a marlin which unfortunately shed the hook. 1 hour later Tony was in the chair on a 146lb yellowfin which took 2 hours to boat. After that 3 dorado in the 10-15lb bracket were caught.

15th FEBRUARY 2003

Kevin & Sam Downey did a 6 hour trip and caught 3 nice dorado to 33lb plus saw a marlin strike (+ miss) a lure 3 times!

UK anglers Rob Oakley and John & Sarah Moon - started with 3 strikes - 1 hooked = 80lb yellowfin which Rob bought up in 20mins on 30lb test. No more strikes so went elsewhere with no luck, returned and had a triple hook up on yellowfin! Lost one cut off then had a lot of trouble before getting a 111lb on 50 for Rob and a 92lb on 30 for John.

26th JANUARY 2003

Max Huntingford and Paul Britton won the 2003 Spice island Billfish Tournament in Grenada!! Mac caught 2 blue marlin and Paul caught one - all of them on the 2nd day of the tournament! Paul caught a nice yellowfin tuna on the 3rd day too. Max won 1st place angler as well
